Reliance Unveils Internet Radio for 3G-ready users

With private operators announcing 3G plans, that bitch of a wait for 3G for us Indians is seemingly over. While Reliance Mobile is an active telecom operator here, instead of announcing their 3G service, they've chose to launch a product that will get to reap the benefits of the same. In a first-ever concept, they've launched the country's first Internet Radio. The company's got their hands into broadcast audio before; in case you didn't know, Reliance also owns the BIG FM radio station. Named BIG Net Radio, this Internet-only radio service will be streamed straight to your phone or your PC (Click here to launch the website). For now they've got three categories: Humor, Celebrity and Devotional. That's right - the big bummer is that there's no music as of now on this radio station. The service is free of charge. Let's just hope they get some music in there soon.
