The OlivePad-VT100 7-inch Android tablet now gets an Android 2.2 update. Hailed as India's first 3G tablet, the OlivePad-VT100 previously came with Android 2.1 and a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display. The OlivePad Android tablet is currently available in Croma stores across the country.
The OlivePad-VT100 is one of the first Android tablets to release in India earlier this year. Apart from having a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display, the OlivePad-VT100 also has useful features like Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS support. The tablet comes with a 3MP camera at the back and VGA-resolution front-facing camera.
The Android 2.2-enabled OlivePad-VT100 is now available in Croma stores for a price of Rs. 25,990. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab (priced Rs. 38,000) and Dell Streak (price Rs. 34,990), the OlivePad-VT100 is the most inexpensive Android 2.2 tablet in the market.
