It's Diwali time and almost every company has one or the other offer running. BSNL has also reduced its tariffs for the festive occasion, offering some of the lowest rates for its 3G data plans.

The offer is available on 3.6 Mbps as well as 7.2 Mbps data cards, and as you can see above, these data cards are also available at a promotional offer price. As per the special offer, all new 3G users will get one free week of unlimited data download, and that is in addition to the other things which are part of the plan being subscribed to. If you do the math, with the six months unlimited plan you can download an unlimited amount of data at just Rs. 700 per month. You also get free national roaming, thus you can take your notebook with the dongle anywhere in the country and use it for high speed Internet access. BSNL's competitors are far behind in the race with most competitors pricing just the 3G dongle for around Rs. 3,500. The BSNL offer has started from November 1 and will be valid for a period of 90 days from that date. BSNL had launched its 3G data cards in March 2009, but this is the best tariff revision since then, a slash of up to 50 percent, which is something that no downloader should ignore.
